We submitted our Development Consent Order (DCO) application to build the proposed electricity connection to the Planning Inspectorate on 28 May 2014. The application was subsequently accepted for examination on 19 June 2014.

Any members of the public who wanted to be involved in the examination process were able to register their interest with the Planning Inspectorate.  Everyone who registered and made a relevant representation were invited by the Planning Inspectorate to attend a preliminary meeting on 19 January 2015.  Full details of the meeting, which set the timetable for the six month examination period, can be found on the Planning Inspectorate website.  More details of the examination process and what it involves can also be found on the Planning Inspectorate website.

The plans and supporting documents for the DCO application are available on the Planning Inspectorate website. On 9 October, we submitted errata and supplementary information in response to advice received from the Planning Inspectorate. We also submitted information relating to our revised construction programme which is available for comment until 20 March 2015. A copy of the published newspaper notice can be found here.
